This page was proposed for deletion by 80.203.59.161 (talk·contribs) on 5 November 2022 with the comment: No real coverage of Sebastian Sponevik (only databases, mentions or articles about other persons), no international merits on continental level, so fails every guideline.

The article has been rejected because Sponevik has "no international merits on continental level, so fails every guideline." However, as pointed out in the article, he was in the European Youth Olympic Festivals floor final, and also ranked in the top 10 among the juniors. He also placed 2nd in the vault final of the most recent european championships, which I will add to the article. Lastly, he is linked to in the wikipedia pages for these international competitions, and unless this page exists, that link will remain red. To summarise, saying that Sponevik has no international merits is just false. Momsemann (talk) 21:20, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have now written about the European championships, and linked to more coverage about him, which hopefully shows that the claim "No real coverage of Sebastian Sponevik (only databases, mentions or articles about other persons), no international merits on continental level, so fails every guideline." is false. I'll keep the proposed deletion in case someone else comes and reviews it, but if not, I'll remove it myself in a couple of days. Momsemann (talk) 08:13, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the proposed deletion seen here on the talks page, but was recommended to add it to the talks page. I believe to have resolved the issues raised, but have added the old prod above nonetheless. Momsemann (talk) 08:18, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
