Sarah Essen Gordon → Sarah Essen – The character was first introduced as Sarah Essen prior to her marriage with Batman's ally Commissioner Gordon. However, because of time travels, their marriage has never taken place in the current DC Comics publications' continuity and making Gordon's first wife Barbara Eileen Kean as the only woman he married to. Despite she did not make a reappearance, it is reasoned that she is now just Sarah Essen. NeoBatfreak (talk) 05:18, 8 June 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. — Newslingertalk04:15, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: What the character is currently known as is irrelevant. We should be looking at what the character is most commonly known as. O.N.R.(talk)20:34, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support. Character has made numerous appearances in various media, with only a minority of them involving her being the wife of Jim Gordon. bd2412T22:18, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
