Hitman's Bodyguard credit

[edit]

Sander Jan Klerk is not in the movie The Hitman's Bodyguard. He is also not in the endcredits of the movie. There are no official sources confirming he worked on this movie. There is only source is an interview he did where he says it. An official source is needed to keep this on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a speculating source of info, we need confirmation. Please stop removing citation for this source. HM Wilburt (talk) 11:34, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dutch Wikipedia just confirmed this credit has been verified by the actual filmproduction, management, national newpapers, imdb editors explained how it was credited, and spotlight which is used by the producers and castingdirector.Marvinvw (talk) 19:40, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Marwin you may not understand but Wiki needs verifiable confirmed sourced. Not selfpublished sources like IMDB, Mandy or Spotlight. There is no official sources confirming actor's involvement with the movie. Wiki shouldn't be a haven for unsourced nonsense. HM Wilburt (talk) 20:45, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It is confirmed in every way, see your talkpage. Marvinvw (talk) 21:02, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is based on verifiable sources. It is not enough for you, Marwin, to write that the sources are verified. You actually have to proof that they are. I hope you understand that. That is how footnotes and sources work. The only thing that is available is 1 interview where the actor states that himself. This lacks RS and 3rd COV. Wikipedia needs more than that. I hope you understand that. Till then unverified data should be removed. HM Wilburt (talk) 21:20, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not discuss the same thing in 2 places at the same time, see your talkpage.Marvinvw (talk) 21:23, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • To sum up what has been said on my talkpage, which is relevant to the discussion regarding uncredited and unsourced information: As said by wiki-admin RandyKitty; Marwin, you cannot put things in WP based on your own knowledge, but only based on reliable sources that are independent of the subject. So what the actor says is irrelevant. IMDb can be edited by anybody, just like WP, and is therefore not an admissible source. If you have sources such as national newspaper, those might be acceptable as sources (if they are not interviews). It is not enough for you to know it you have to be able to proof it. There is no proof of this actor working on this film and your own knowledge isn't verifiable information. Till then unsourced information regarding Hitman's bodyguard should stay removed from this page. I'll leave this comment here so other editors can refer to it. HM Wilburt (talk) 22:42, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Do you not forget to leave the rest of the information here too then? It was in the national newspaper, which was added as a source in the article on WP. The Hitman's Bodyguard was mentioned by them, not by the actor in the article. That is why the addition to the page was made and it was added as source. HM Wilburt refuses to accept it for some reason.(which in my opinion is against the rules of WP, but ok) and immediately started removing the credit very aggressively, before adding any more "source?" citations. Perhaps he didn't want people to see the source? I have no idea what the reason for this is. Maybe because it happened before with actor Robert de Hoog, where he rigorously removed credits too and I corrected him (see my dutch talk page). Or many other actors for that matter. The spree seems somewhat random. That same day he tried to remove the credit from imdb and said in a discussion on wp: Look, it's not even on imdb so it must be a fake credit (manipulating sources, even though imdb is not a real source and it was actually there that morning) and seemed to be placed back twice and removed twice an placed back by them. I messaged them to ask about this and how they check it and the editors reacted that the credit was indeed verified. They explained to me how they do that and how it's credited. I have actually shown HM Wilburt this exchange of messages from them. So he knows and has no reason at all for doubt. So it was doubly confirmed. And still, HM Wilburt chooses to ignore the newspaper and their verification. So, then I decided to contact the management who also confirmed that actor indeed worked as a voice actor on this film. And how Spotlight pages from the management are very reliable because they are supervised by the actual production companies and casting directors who hire them. An actor would never work again would there be something like this made up. I contacted them too. The page is maintained by the management I was told. Then to leave absolutely no doubt I also contacted the actual production company who also confirmed it and told me how this was done by Shepperton/Pinewood and when the actor was there and explained how it's credited and why, and about the other people who worked on it, etc. I think that aside from this debate, we should take a good look at the contribution timeline of user HM Wilburt Marvinvw (talk) 01:03, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Marwin, you can keep pasting blocks of text but it serves no purprose. You supply no verifiable third party sources, such as links. This is what is needed for sources on Wiki. We cannot have unsourced nonsense on Wiki. A press interview in a paper isn't RS coverage. But this has been said enough times by me and other users to a point that i feel you are intentionally refusing to understand the point. Supply actual sources and stop engaging in knowledge-warring. Thank you. HM Wilburt (talk) 22:28, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have restored a credible source, earlier removed by mr. Wilburt. The Banner talk 18:14, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi everyone i've corrected all his fake credits. this actor is a background actor trying to pass his credits as lead roles. he is a fake actor and his only real work was in ZOOP. recently imdb confirmed this and removed all his fake actor credits. you can find this online. his wikipedia is a lie. Manchesterchampions (talk) 15:54, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I really don't know what you are trying to do here. All roles are real, credited and legit. It looks like Vincent van Ommen just created another sockpuppet profile to vandalize actors profiles. And now he tried to delete all of Klerk's credits from IMDB this week too? They are being restored as we speak. None of te roles are extra's. All were credited speaking roles. Where is his Danni Lowinski role? Why did you try and remove that on here and on IMDB? Investigation is currently ongoing and the credits will be restored. Nobody is trying to pass all his roles as lead roles. Yes his roles in the tv series ZOOP and the cinema movie ZOOP in Africa were leads, but all his other roles, 4 episodes het Glazen Huis, Danni Lowinski, Suspects, Moordvrouw etc were normal credited roles too so why are you trying to constantly delete everything? This is pure vandalism.Marvinvw (talk) 16:19, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Are you a crazy person or something? I am a fan of Zoop, grew up with it. Decided to watch other films SanderJanKlerk was in because of Zoop but he is in none of the films listed on the wiki. He was in suspects and Moordvrouw but as an extra. He has no lines, his character has no name and he is in those series for 5 seconds. He was only really in Zoop all the others he wasn't in or he was an extra. You can check it yourself on videoland.com. Not a fan of him anymore. Fake actor.
