New article for the Song List?
[edit]I would say, since the game will have downloadable content, and will thus cause the list to grow more expansive as time goes on, it may be time to split it off onto its own page. What do y'all think? That seems to be the standard for all the other rhythm games, now that I look around, so it may be a given. --SuperHappy (talk) 09:45, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- It seems to be a pretty long list at list point, and it'll only get longer, so I'd agree. Kuro ♪ 20:17, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Wii game split
[edit]Do we need to discuss whether we want to split this article or not, or can we just go ahead and do it? The Wii section seems long enough to have it's own page. MF14 (talk) 01:29, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- I would say that Ver.2000, the Wii version, and the song list should all get their own pages, complete with a menu box to go on the bottom of each page. I wonder if the importance of the game series would be called into question though. Maybe we should wait until we see how the Wii version performs? To be honest, I still don't have a clear idea how Wikipedia measures such things. --SuperHappy (talk) 17:16, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with SuperHappy. Samba de Amigo Ver.2000 and Samba de Amigo Wii should get separate articles aside from the original Samba de Amigo. Both games are sequels that somewhat expand the original game in certain fields, even if being graphically similar. We can call this a series for sure. - Don't know if Wikipedia has a policy in place tocover situations like this. From what I've seen, remakes a generally go on the same page as the original, e.g. Resident Evil (video game) but I have seen exceptions.Mr T (Based) (talk) 13:41, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
- How come we should call this a remake instead of a sequel? (Mr Wesker (talk) 01:17, 16 September 2008 (UTC))
- Er, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc etc. I've seen it called a remake, an update and so on but not a sequel.Mr T (Based) (talk) 12:50, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'd have to argue otherwise as this is a style of game that any sequel would likely only have the new gifts of songs and improved graphics, the Wii version at the very least has this, plus many new features, and as far as I am concerned definitely should be considered a sequel worthy of it's own page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.227.156.62 (talk) 18:33, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
