I am going to accept this draft as the sort of stub that is acceptable in Wikipedia. The criterion for acceptance of articles in AFC is that the article should be able to be Kept on an Articles for Deletion discussion, and this one will. Also, in my opinion, almost anything that is mentioned by a classical reference work like Pliny or Ptolemy should be noted in Wikipedia, because the mention in a classical reference work is notable in itself.
