Need to expand athletics section
[edit]I'm not affiliated with this school in anyway, but the athletics section is seriously lacking compared to say, Saint Ignatius College Preparatory(which I still think is lacking on its own). I don't keep track of SHC sports, but I know they've done lots, such as win the State Title in football this year, but I don't even know what division. MLGDatBoi1738 (talk) 00:58, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
Notable Alumnus addition request
[edit]Hello!
Another notable alumnus of Sacred Heart High School is Sal Valentino of the 60's folk rock band, "The Beau Brummels," which had a couple of big hits around 1965-1966 and was even featured in cartoon form on "The Flinstones." Do Google Search and you will find references to this... AOL music has this info on their bio too.

Fair use rationale for Image:Shcplogo.jpg
[edit]Image:Shcplogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Criminal incidents
[edit]This content lacks adequate sourcing and relevancy for this article. Monfredini is not identified as a Sacred student. Thus inclusion is not appropriate for this article. While Aicardi & Dwyer were former students, their conduct after leaving Sacred has no bearing on the school. If we added misconduct by former students to elementary, high schools and colleges we would quickly run out of disk space. Additionally, according to he source, the school made no comment on the incident. Lionel (talk) 19:33, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Jim Gentile
[edit]This former Sacred Heart HS product finished third in the AL MVP voting in 1961 behind Maris who hit 61 that year and Mickey Mantle. Former big leaguer with the Dodgers and Orioles. If you need to confirm, please check Baseball Reference and it will be listed.

Church of the Sacred Heart
[edit]In an article in Caecilia vol 60 no. 8 p. 346, 1934, Tetrazzini claims credit for rebuilding a Church of the Sacred Heart in stone. The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption (San Francisco) article says there was already a St Mary's on Cathedral Hill, so where did this other church exist?
