Picture in infobox

[edit]

Not familiar with this particular box. Isn't displaying correctly. 7&6=thirteen () 20:14, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That's not an issue with the infobox but with the image itself. I suggest uploading a cropped version that omits the white and gray parts and using that cropped image instead. Huon (talk) 20:42, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
 Fixed Thanks User:Doug Coldwell. 7&6=thirteen () 11:12, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

An additional picture needed

[edit]

This one would be with the topside unloading gear. 7&6=thirteen () 14:46, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Flag image

[edit]

Trying to change the flag image. We had the wrong one. we should have either the one when she was launched, or the one under which she was sunk. I am getting a "malformed flag image" message. I took care of it by putting in the current flag, but that is Don't know how to fix it is an anachronism.

Disappearance

[edit]

Longer than the Titanic, 1912-1985. We need a source for that, however. 7&6=thirteen () 22:21, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Timing of renaming

[edit]

The article mentions the ship's first name several times, but glosses over when she was renamed. While the implication is that the renaming occurred in connection with the sale and refitting, it that's the case, the article should say so. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 14:17, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As I recall, the multiple sources cited were not explicit on the point. But maybe I missed it? 7&6=thirteen () 14:27, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
A database hosted by the University of Michigan Library states that the renaming took place in 1922.[1]Bigturtle (talk) 14:31, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Recent DYK

[edit]

Non-lead hooks with at least 15K and #1 for October. We are the leader for the month of October! It would have been bigger (I think) if they ran the picture, or in the lead slot. 7&6=thirteen () 17:29, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A serious feat for a one-line DYK lede.Bigturtle (talk) 18:14, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
