Name

[edit]

The 1862 ship was named SMS Juan d'Austria. SMS Don Juan d'Austria was the name of the "rebuilt" ship from 1875. The is is according to the Österreichisches Staatsarchiv or Austrian State Archives based on email discussion in May 2021

Do you have any published sources? There are disagreements between various sources, which refer to this ship either by the current article title, "Juan de Austria", and "Juan d'Austria". I selected the current title because it seems to be the most common in the references available to me. Parsecboy (talk) 15:59, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
