There used to be a video interview by TV Guide with Starr at this link [1]. The video seems to have been taken down, but I wrote down a quote from the video verbatim. Wikipedia allows dead links to be used as sources, so I've added the quote that I wrote down from the video to the "Early life" section of this article, and I've cited the video as the source for the quote. --Jpcase (talk) 16:09, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The authenticity of RyanStarr.us as Ryan Starr's (now defunct) official website can be verified by The York Dispatch at this webpage. I've used two newsletters that were posted on the website's forums as sources. Obviously, a forum post normally wouldn't be considered an acceptable source, but in this case, I'm not using the "forum" as a source, I'm using the "newsletter" as a source. And official newsletters should be perfectly fine as primary sources.
Ideally, I would be able to link to the newsletter itself, rather than a forum post containing the newsletter, but the forum will have to do. Since Wikipedia doesn't require that web-based sources still be accessible online, I technically don't have to include a url link for the newsletter at all - but I've added forum pages in the url fields, just so that people can read the newsletters for themselves if they're so inclined. --Jpcase (talk) 16:55, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
