Alternate rename to 2022 Russian censorship laws or 2022 Russian war censorship laws. "Fake news" is a term that violates WP:NPOV by implying that the news the laws are censoring is fabricated, which is not the case outside of official propaganda. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 21:23, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Support 2022 Russian fake news laws as proposed. Fake news laws is the common name in English, fake news is a phrase in the title of most of the article's English-language references, and is in the text of the others. And it is not one particular law, so despite our normal practice the plural is the more recognisable. This proposed title is also consistent with the existing title of Russian fake news laws.
