Royal Thai Naval Dockyard = Bangkok Dock Company?
[edit]There is a fine write-up and section on the Royal Thai Naval Dockyard here. However it is all historical.
But corvette sized ships have been built at the Royal Thai Naval Dockyard, Bangkok as late as the 1980's, and smaller vessels (perhaps) much later, even today? While checking up on this, I found a WIKI page titled: Bangkok Dock Company, which mentions that it is a State-owned company and operates the Royal Thai Naval Dockyard, Sattahip. It is rather vague as to what it operates inside Bangkok, however ⇒ Today.
I don't know the answer to this. If someone can find out if the Bangkok Dock Company is the manager of the Royal Thai Naval Dockyard, Bangkok, then that information can be added to the section here (dates, acquisition, etc.) along with a link.
The history is great, however I think an update as to the current status, and whether or not this venerable facility still supports the Thai Navy would be a fine addition to this page!
