I have attempted to "fix" this page but am new to Wikipedia and am not sure that I am understanding all of the guidelines referenced in the "call for deletion". I first wrote this article in response to a mistake in a related Wikipedia article Romney, West Virginia under Historic Sites: Old Romney High School referencing the date of the opening of the new Romney Middle School as 2005. I corrected this to December 6, 2004 and made a link to the history section of the school's home page. The Wikipedia message also said that an article about Romney Middle School did not yet exist but that one could be written. I am the school webmaster and also the author of the History of Romney Middle School on the website. The history was originally created after extensive research as a project for a graduate class in the History of American Education at West Virginia University in 1998. The original manuscript was given to Dr. Sam Stack, a professor at WVU. I retained a copy for my own purposes and posted it in a slightly altered format on the school's [website].[1] I am a teacher at the school and the sole webmaster of the school website and as such have made edits to the article as needed to reflect evolving events. The original sources for the project are included on the website and have been added under the reference section of the newly revised article. Please advise if there are other edits that I need to do complete in order to keep this article from being deleted. Salkire 04:11, 28 May 2007 (UTC)salkire[reply]
