Roger Charles Bell → Loki 7 bombings – (to be stylized "Loki 7 bombings") Per WP:BLP1E and WP:COATRACK. This article has one line of biographical information about Roger Charles Bell, and is otherwise entirely about the terrorist activity of his supposed organization. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 14:17, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. From what I can tell, Bell was "Loki 7". I think it's better to name the article for its true subject rather than a pseudonym. As a more prominent parallel example, Unabomber redirects to Ted Kaczynski. PKT(alk) 16:02, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- Different situations, I think. Ted Kaczynski is a biography of a domestic terrorist, including many details on his life before the bombings, his primitivist beliefs, his manifesto (which has its own article), details about his nearly-20-year terrorist activity, and details on his life in prison. This article is just about the string of bombings, we really don't have much more info on the perpetrator other than his name; it's more similar to the Oklahoma City bombing than to Timothy McVeigh. And so I think it should be named after the event it describes; it could just as well be "1990s Maritime bombings" or something like that. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:18, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- Support. As the nominator points out, this article is almost entirely about the bombings and the investigation thereof, and its title should reflect that. Though the initially proposed title would be my first preference, I would also be amenable to an alternate title (like "1990s Maritime bombings" suggested upthread), as long as it establishes the event as the primary subject of the article. - Support The entire is about his actions, instead of his own biography. Ebbedlila (talk) 00:28, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
