Irish language name
[edit]I'm not sure about the Irish language name for Rockfield Lake. I think its Loch na Finne, but I'm not sure.
It seems that Cavan County Council, on its road signage for Rockfield Lake, uses the name Loch Phairc na Carraige as the modern Irish language name for the lake. It is possible that Loch na Finne was the original Irish language name for Rockfield Lake. The modern Irish name Loch Phairc na Carraige literally translates as 'Lough of the Field of Rock' or 'Lough of the Field of Rocks'. Laggan Boy (talk) 11:30, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
