rolling stock

[edit]

Pictures of the rolling stock from the external links shows that the Rochester Subway, at some point, started using the very popular President Congress Cars.

a) They're Presidents’ Conference Committee cars;
b) Rochester never ran them. Useddenim (talk) 16:51, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Something strange is going on. I am sure I have had discussions on the talk page in the past. But the history is empty. Strange.

[edit]

It seems unusual that some of the stations in the list are wikilinked to road articles and to a company. In other similar articles, a station link would take you to an article that provides specific information about the station. I am removing the station links. They do not help this article and, in fact, cause confusion. If someone can provide a valid reason for having them, feel free to put them back. Thanks. [edit]

The link given takes you to the Rochester, Syracuse, and Eastern Rapid Railway page in Wikipedia. The connection at this location was in fact the Rochester and Eastern Rapid Railway which connected Rochester to Geneva through Pittsford and Canandaigua.

There is a Wikipedia page for the Rochester and Eastern Rapid Railway, but it does take some drilling to get there. http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Rochester_and_Eastern_Rapid_Railway — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.221.240.193 (talk) 19:30, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
