The Rotating Forefathers of Rocketry.

[edit]

I note from a brief survey of the intros for articles about Robert Goddard, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky and Esnault-Pelterie that each cites a slightly different list of 'recognised forefathers of astronautics/rocketry'. Can someone with an authoritative knowledge of these people and the topic please go over these few articles and tie together the 'acknowledged list of forefathers'? It seems weird to have each separate article in an encyclopedia telling different versions of the story, especially when it's the first line of the first chapter of a famous story. 2A00:23C7:3119:AD01:3C2E:26CC:781A:EE5D (talk) 21:00, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
