Rhondda line or Treherbet line?
[edit]I've seen both Rhondda and Treherbet used to describe this branch. Generally, though, I believe Treherbet is the overwhelming use: MP, 2019 - https://twitter.com/RhonddaBryant/status/1153555970565509121 TFW, 2023 - https://tfw.wales/projects/metro/south-wales-metro/treherbert-line-transformation Wales Online, 2023 - https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/valleys-train-line-close-up-26524445.amp ITV, 2023 - https://www.itv.com/news/wales/2023-03-29/rail-boss-defends-closing-major-valleys-line-for-rest-of-the-year
I'm wanting to be bold and make this change. If you have qualms, please feel free to revert and discuss. Couruu (talk) 07:09, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
- After a bit more research, I've figured that Rhondda is the primary name historically and that Treherbet has come into use more recently. What I'll do in that respect is keep the primary name, and insert a "also known as the Treherbet Line". I'll also create a redirect. Couruu (talk) 07:28, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
