Kathy chambers
[edit]went looking to try to answer the "who" tag. She apparently has gone into political organizing... just scattered news here and there. her twitter account; some press over political organizing, that sort of thing. Jytdog (talk) 14:49, 27 April 2018 (UTC)
- Google was not generous. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:22, 27 April 2018 (UTC)
- No Longer Silent: Clergy for Justice could be her organisation. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:56, 27 April 2018 (UTC)
- i think it is local. this page at ThinkProgess describes it as "a Tennesse-based organization of clergy that has previously advocated for causes including immigration reform, health care, and anti-bullying laws" and their facebook about page says much the same: "CfJ is a grassroots organization of religious leaders committed to seeking justice in public policy. Our name comes from Micah 6:8: "...and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"" - @Gråbergs Gråa Sång and Jytdog: Why the [who?] on Kathy Chambers? Besides the fact that she's the author of a chapter in A Feminist Companion to the Acts of the Apostles ISBN 9780826462527, why do we need to know more? We don't normally put [who?] tags on every name that doesn't have a Wikipedia article. Thanks, SchreiberBike | ⌨ 16:01, 10 January 2020 (UTC)
- As I see it (and at least some others do to: Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style/Archive_199#People_we_quote_and_paraphrase), we should get something more than a bare name in-text. Why are we listening to this person? Is she an author, doctor, professor, what? Something cited that shows why we included her. Btw, Jytdog buggered off a while back. Delightful Stories
[edit]I don't think it's anything we can use as a source, but Rhoda is mentioned in this book, above and below the image.[1] Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:28, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
