Fleet list
[edit]Someone has obviously put a lot of work into the Fleet table, but this is non-standard when compared to other airline articles. IMO it is of limited importance to know when a particular aircraft was built, or even to know the registrations of all of the aircraft in the fleet. I think the table should be removed. YSSYguy (talk) 05:19, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- I think that knowing the registration is unessesary and should be replaced by a simplier fleet table. EZ1234 (talk) 03:06, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Same with me - a listing stating the airline has 'x of type y' plane seems more appropriate. Wongm (talk) 10:36, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed, If it's a notable aircraft owned by REX it would have been added to the article anyway. Bidgee (talk) 10:39, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- I've removed the list of the aircraft fleet and changed it to fleet list like the QantasLink article. Bidgee (talk) 09:49, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed, If it's a notable aircraft owned by REX it would have been added to the article anyway. Bidgee (talk) 10:39, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Merge suggestion
[edit]Regional Express Holdings only has one notable subsidiary, Rex Airlines. Much like the listed Qantas Group is incorporated into the Qantas article, propose that Regional Express Holdings be merged into Rex Airlines, the former is largely content forking of the latter. Ensettham (talk) 09:38, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
- Agreed Clifton9 (talk) 23:17, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- Agreed But it needs to be done better than in the Qantas. It is not always clear what is being referred to, the group or an element of the group. It needs to be explained properly in the lead what the article is about. Currently this is not done in the Qantas article lead. Aoziwe (talk) 06:12, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 11:12, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- Rex has now suspended sales and there is a bit of conflict on what should be included where about the collapse. Where should things like flight cancellations go? Also I think that a bit of the collapse should be somewhere on the top, becasue it reads like nothing happened on top and everything going wrong on the bottom. My edits to fix that were reverted. Jordf32123 (talk) 07:17, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
- A bit better now but it think it needs a mention in the History section as that section is seperate to the other mentions and reads like nothing happened to the services it mentions. The edits to fix that as well were also reverted.Jordf32123 (talk) 03:15, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
History section
[edit]Should there be a bit of the happenings in the bottom of the History section? (The services mentioned were all cancelled.) Aparently not or it is unsourced, otherwise comments are a bit confusing. Jordf32123 (talk) 05:45, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
EDIT: Did it again a while ago and no one minded Jordf32123 (talk) 08:35, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
