Fictional
[edit]Aside from an ambiguous reference to the "Terminator franchise" there was no indication that this was an article about a fictional organization. Added the word 'fictional' to the first sentence and a cleanup message. --Yatta 03:04, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Tech-Com is a Branch
[edit]Tech-Com is a branch of the resistance, not the name of the resistance itself. Please revert this article.
That isnt mentioned in any of the films and so may not be canon, and while it may be mentioned in some of the spin-off material as a branch, I think it is mentioned in others to be the resistance itself. 81.109.230.12 (talk) 17:17, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
A lot of this seems to be based on anticiliary material
[edit]such as video games and comic books. It would help if the reader knew that much of the material in this page is not canonical. Serendipodous 15:35, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
original research
[edit]Where is it that the T-X is more advanced? It seems much less advanced than the T-1000, and they occur in different timelines... (there is no way a T-X could destroy a T-1000, or for that matter, Arnie's terminator couldn't destroy it either). 132.205.44.5 (talk) 23:46, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
The T-X was designed specifically to terminate other terminators, hence why it is armed with a Nano-Disrupter (.222), which allows it to destroy nano-based terminators like the T-1000 with ease. It's actually a hybrid of the traditional endoskeleton model, and the nano-based models, so it incorporates the best aspects of blt. Perhaps not more advanced per se, but definitely more innovative. Its onboard weapons make it worlds better than the T-1000. So it could in fact, very easily destroy a T-1000, as that is what it was designed to do.
Organization Section
[edit]A lot of the organization section seems randomly written stuff coming from no source and likely vanity vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.216.51.15 (talk) 05:58, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Organization
[edit]Excuse me, but where is this information coming from? In any of the films, or "The Sarah Connor Chronicles", have I heard mention of someone named "Admiral Xavier Ramirez". Frankly, it sounds like a (really bad) RPG character, and stinks of Mary-Sue. Regardless, it has no place in a wikipedia article. 138.251.228.30 (talk) 00:16, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Fair enough, I deserved that deletion but I also thought you might do that so I'll just go ahead and repost it:
Its called an imagination. Maybe you have heard of it. Maybe this character is not part of the "Sarah Connor Series" or the movies. Did you know of a Brewster before T3 came out? There are many things that we don't know of the resistance. So instead of sticking to a supposed "canon" which obvisouly the series creator are not adhering to maybe you should expand your universe to the possibility that maybe a seperate chain of command exists. After all has it occured to you that a naval force will be needed to transport items or personnel? You see what we find out in the new movie Terminator Salvation is that Skynet has also in its arsenal a swarm of hydrobots that do killing as well, here read this http://terminator.wikia.com/wiki/Hydrobot. So maybe, just maybe there is an Admiral Ramirez who takes on these hydrobots and a fleet of other hydro killers. So instead of it being a "really bad" RPG character maybe just maybe you have a really bad imagination and are a bad judge of creativity. And who the heck is Mary Sue anyway? Id be embarrased to have even used that expression. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.31.242.174 (talk) 16:22, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
"Total War" section
[edit]The "Total War" section states that Skynet sent the three Terminators out to destroy John at the same time. This isn't true, they were sent out at different times.
The T-800 is said to be brand new in the first movie, but obsolete by the third.
Also, TechCom hasn't been known to defeat Skynet yet. Kyle Reese may have said the war was over, but that was changed with the later movies
Can someone please fix these?

Known Members
[edit]Im not 100% sure, which is why I haven't changed it, but I remember in the Sarah Conner Chronicles episode "Dungeons & Dragons" that Cameron states Derrick Reese was a 1st lieutenant, not a private as listed (maybe insignificant, but might as well be right). Also, Andy Goode isn't on the list, and he was shown to be in the resistance in the same episode.
- That could also be a time issue. Since the show deals with time travel, but I think it should be listed as whatever is higher of the ranks (I don't know which is), if you got proof that is. Also for the members list, does the † represent a person who is dead? I don't see that stated anywhere. And what about Kate Brewster and the others from T3, do they count? If T3 takes place in an alternate reality, they wouldn't really be part of 'this' reality's resistance. Oh And references, should it be mentioned in what movie or episode the character is stated to be in the resistance? Tydamann (talk) 08:44, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
I have deleted this section. For it to be replaced, it needs strict referencing of names to source material. Miami33139 (talk) 19:56, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion
[edit]This article was prodded as it isn't based on reliable sources. I deprodded. Unless it can be sourced better the prodder will probably send it to Articles for Deletion. Some rewriting based on reliable sources wouldn't go amiss; I'm struggling with finding sources focussing on this aspect of the Terminatorverse. Fences&Windows 19:14, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Are there any good merge targets for sections of this article? Fences&Windows 19:45, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
