I am trying to deal with "This article or section has multiple issues". I have made links and references which should help support this article and make the subject easier to understand.
I am having trouble with the footnote references that the URL and the title of the reference are being combined in the footnote as one big URL which can't be linked correctly. Looking for solution.
And what more needs to be done to the article.

- I've formatted things a bit. This page is titled "Reserves for Common-Interest Developments" but it seems like the primary topic is "Common-Interest Developments". Any objection to moving it to that title (actually to "Common interest development" per Wikipedia:Naming conventions)? Jfire (talk) 20:36, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
No, I don't have a problem with that. I was surprised that there isn't an article for Common-Interest Developments considering how big it is. Common-Interest Developments is addressed in the Wiki article "Homeowners' associations". But I was trying to get the subject of "Reserves" for CID's addressed. But to do that you would have to address what a CID is and the path that gets down to the subject of Reserves. There is no article for just the title "Reserves" and just the title "Reserves" can refer to many different areas and subjects (Federal, oil, etc.). Look forward to your feedback. Thanks for fixing the links. Also how did you get your user information at the end of your comments? Did you type it in or is there something to <click>? BChaffee
- I have split the article moving all the introductory text to Common-interest development. The whole thing needs a rewrite to turn it into an article though. -- Whpq (talk) 15:46, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Multiple issues not addressed
[edit]This doesnt read like an encyclopedia entry. is this information on how CIDs are structured worldwide, or only in one state or country? an article on cids would be: definition, regional differences, history of cids, comparison with other forms of housing, experts weighing in on various issues around cids (environmental, legal, social, economic). statistics on cid developments as a fraction of housing developments in key areas worldwide. the info currently in this article might even just be a reference to a page, such as [1] which was the first link when article was first written. this article seems to assume the reader is already a real estate developer, and almost sounds like a how to. i hope someone besides me can fix it. i will probably tag it as "expert needed". Global view
[edit]This article appears to be drawn from US sources. And even at that, it may differ from state to state in the US. I suspect that even more differences exist when looking beyond the US to other countries. -- Whpq (talk) 18:00, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
