[edit]quote ( After annexing Russia doubled payments to about 560,000 pensioners and 200,000 public workers (in Crimea).[74] Those raises were cut back in April 2015.[75]
In June 2015 The Economist estimated that the average salary in Crimea was about two-third of the average salary in Russia.[75] According to Russian statistics by March 2015 the inflation in Crimea was 80%.[76]
According to the Crimean authorities local food prices have grown 2.5 times since Russia's annexation.[77] Since then the peninsula now has to import most of its food from Russia.[77] Ukrainian news agency UNIAN claimed in June 2015 that many Crimeans travel to mainland Ukraine to buy groceries.[78] )
one , info should be updated ;
two , since when , unian (and the rest) , expecially since pla$tic mayidan , is a (at least) neutral , objective and professional source ?!

- Republic of Crimea → Republic of Crimea (Russia)
- Republic of Crimea (disambiguation) → Republic of Crimea
– The term 'Republic of Crimea' does not have a clear primary topic; therefore, according to WP:NOPRIMARY, the base name should direct the reader to a disambiguation page. To be considered a primary topic, the administrative division of Russia would need to be more likely than all other topics combined to be the topic sought when a reader searches for that term. However, this is not the case, as the other topics listed on the Republic of Crimea (disambiguation) page are collectively sought more often. Aldij (talk) 16:47, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

Republic of Crimea or Crimean Republic, may refer to:
on the Republic of Crimea (disambiguation) page. Aldij (talk) 16:54, 15 May 2024 (UTC)- OK, might be a good move then. Slatersteven (talk) 17:01, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

- Comment Republic of Crimea (disambiguation) just WP:CFORKs the Crimea (disambiguation) page; we should consider merging the two. 162 etc. (talk) 18:10, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
- I have no opinion about such a merger. If they were to merge, then Republic of Crimea should redirect to the Crimea (disambiguation) page. Aldij (talk) 18:37, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
- support per nom. I support the merge proposal too—blindlynx 21:54, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
Requested move 15 May 2024 revisited
[edit]I think the earlier page move needs to be reviewed, per WP:DENY AND Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Dolyn. The Banner talk 23:00, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed. Wheatley2 (talk) 04:41, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
Delete territorial control map
[edit]The territorial control map should be deleted, as it is implying that Crimea is militarily contested between Russia and Ukraine, when in reality Ukraine has not had a military presence on the peninsula since 2014. If the territorial control map is to remain on this article, then it would make sense to add such a map for Jammu and Kashmir, Taiwan, and the Gaza Strip.
The article is dedicated to the federal subject that is the Republic of Crimea as defined by Russian law. Such a map is for Russian occupation of Crimea. Mysteriousgadfly (talk) 04:47, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- it does however contest it, just politically. Slatersteven (talk) 10:07, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
