The result was: promoted by Z1720 (talk19:41, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

5x expanded by Steelkamp (talk). Self-nominated at 05:57, 23 July 2022 (UTC).[reply]

General: Article is new enough and long enough

Policy compliance:

Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: The article is new enough, long enough, no significant copyvio on Earwig, and hooks are cited and interesting. The only issue is that sources should be added to the end of each paragraph, but once that's done this nom should be ready for promotion. Date requests can't be more than six weeks in advance, so I added ALT1b in case you want to run it before the opening. BuySomeApples (talk) 05:03, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@BuySomeApples: It should be ready now. Steelkamp (talk) 06:00, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Steelkamp: this one looks ready! BuySomeApples (talk) 20:23, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copy changes

[edit]

CinS means User:Sammi Brie/Commas in sentences.

  • The station is one of three stations that were built as part of the Forrestfield–Airport Link project, and is served by Transperth's Airport line services. Remove comma (CinS)
  • Construction began in mid-2017 and by June 2018, excavation was complete. Add comma after "mid-2017" because "By 2018, excavation was complete." is a standalone sentence. (CinS)
  • It is served by trains every 12 minutes during peak hour, and every 15 minutes outside peak hour and on weekends and public holidays. Remove comma (CinS)
  • There are also drop-off bays nearby, and a 500-bay car park approximately 400 metres (1,300 ft) south. Remove comma (CinS)
  • Change "81%" to "81 percent" MOS:PERCENT
  • Excavation started in early 2018 and was completed by June 2018, Perhaps Excavation started in early 2018 and was completed by June,
  • Remove the hyphen from early-August

Also check for some MOS:SPELL09 fixes throughout.

Sourcing and spot checks

[edit]
  • Earwig turns up no issues.
  • References are archived.

Five of the 49 references were selected randomly for spot checks:

  • 7: 2016 WA Gov press release: The rail line will be tunnelled underground from a junction near Bayswater Station, under the Swan River and the airport, and out to Forrestfield. It is due to open in 2020. as well as other items in the preceding paragraph. checkY
  • 18: Construction update with a section, On Sunday 18 June, Premier Mark McGowan and Transport Minister Rita Saffioti released artist impressions for Belmont Station. checkY
  • 25 and 26: Two construction updates on the same sentence. The first talks about preparation for the arrival of the TBMs. The second notes the installation of the crane. checkY
  • 40: System map shows Redcliffe on the Airport line. checkY
