Correct name?
[edit]It looks like there is no populated place called Ramatlabama in South Africa. There is Miga, as shown in the census data in the reference. Ramatlabama is a populated place in Botswana, just across the border, after which the border post is named. Apparently people call Miga Ramatlabama because of its closeness to the border-post but that seems to be wrong. --Vanellus (talk) 05:55, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
- @Vanellus
- That is a Good question that needs an answer. I've just seen the article & I'm surprised that the "short description" says it is in Botswana meanwhile the Introduction explains it being a part of South Africa.
- Even the Infobox is messed up, as it shows "Mahikeng Local Municipality" as its location while also mentioning Botswana as its nation instead of just mentioning one area.
- If indeed that name applies to both sides of the border, this is not how we are to express it.
- Let me see how best this article can be edited. GeographicAccountant (talk) 19:53, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
