McKim Marriott
[edit]Professor McKim Marriott, the American anthropologist, whose work in the 1950s on the cultural origins of the Raksha Bandhan and Rakhee/Saluno/Rakri traditions in rural North India is much cited in this article, passed away early last month at the age of 100. Here is an appreciation. @RegentsPark: please note. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 02:07, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
