The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: not moved. For the move to proceed strictly as proposed, the discussion would need to generate consensus that the dolls are primary topic. There seems to be agreement based on pageviews, implying the lack of consensus comes from uncertainty as to which topic holds the greatest long-term significance. Furthermore, nominator's main concern was a reader's ability to find the dolls article. Per nom's subsequent comment, 162 etc.'s creation of the dab (per Praxidicae's suggestion) has addressed this (should have RMed for a DAB on this title). Rainbow High (dolls) → Rainbow High – This article is fits perfectly with the more simpler title. As confusing as this sounds, this topic's notability and verifiability should not be an issue at all. Should this move not materialize, I'll understand and find other routes to better present this. Millions are searching this on Wikipedia as at now — I included — and they got to the wrong location. Oppose. Given there are multiple Rainbow High references (of which I've just now been made aware, this should be a DAB. PRAXIDICAE💕20:07, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
DAB Support. – @162 etc.:, I fully support a DAB, even though my original RM was to notify you of a potential more notable article piece for this title, as more events and notabilities keep coming by the day/week/month/year – including this one. As you said, the title was originally for the Alex Sanchez novel here on WP, but there's now a "challenger", as in the 2000s in the American fashion doll market, there was a "Bratz vs. Barbie" challenge (See this section from the former's article, I've been working on it for a week now). Had I not done this RM, and I'll admit that I should have RMed for a DAB on this title instead of leaning to the doll line only, neither you nor Praxidicae would've acted on this.
