Fair use rationale for Image:Gretaqueen132.jpg
[edit]Image:Gretaqueen132.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Historical Accuracy
[edit]The wikipedia page on Christina of Sweden says this movie has "almost nothing to do with the real Christina" but none of the discrepancies are mentioned here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JoshNarins (talk • contribs) 02:33, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

File:Poster - Queen Christina 02 Crisco restoration.jpg to appear as POTD
[edit]Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Poster - Queen Christina 02 Crisco restoration.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on July 1, 2013. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2013-07-01. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. Thanks! — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:35, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
Closing shot not a continuity error
[edit]I'm not going to change the article, because I don't want to spoil the party, but the closing shot is NOT the continuity error it's commonly thought to be. I just watched the end again, twice through, and it's clear that Garbo's cape and collar are both being blown from behind, just like the wind in the sails. That is absolutely unmistakable if you watch it carefully. Her hair even shows signs of being blown from behind, but gently enough that it doesn't blow over her face.
