Delete this article. It holds zero encyclopedic value.
[edit]This is not notable in any way. Put this article on a wiki about the videogame it comes from. This content is not at all encyclopedic: it was from a videogame and was only known by people in its fandom. It was not reported on by the mainstream media, and it was not really talked about by anyone outside the game's community. The fact that such an article can even have an encyclopedia page is crazy. This article should be nominated for a speedy deletion.

- Thanks for sharing your critique! I understand your concern that this is not a notable subject worthy of Wikipedia coverage; however, it does meet the general notability guidelines, and Wikipedia has a long history of covering cultural phenomena, including memes that have received significant coverage from outside the community (as this one has, in that it has made its way to well-known and reputable general video game and culture news sites outside the TF2 community). From an intuitive standpoint this article is about a rather silly topic, which often suggests a short half-life of interest (and thereby a lack of notability), but I do believe this is important from an anthropological perspective, as online vandalism very rarely has the "constructive" communal effect Purple Francis did, and as such is actually quite likely to remain notable into the future.
