Sources?
[edit]Anyone notice anything funny about the footnotes? Seems like an encyclopedia entry would have more than one verifiable source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.63.86.153 (talk) 04:29, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- There are two sources in the footnotes. There aren't always copious amounts of material available for references. In fact, not all articles have them as of yet. Wildhartlivie (talk) 23:18, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Lineage
[edit]I corrected a claim in the article that she and her spouse Frederick Charles were third cousins because they were both great-great-grandchildren of King Frederick William III of Prussia, when in effect they were both the king's greatgrandchildren:
- Margaret --> Emperor Frederick III –-> Emperor William I –-> King Frederick William III
- Frederick Charles –-> Princess Anna of Prussia –-> Prince Karl of Prussia –-> King Frederick William III

They were factually doubly second cousins, because also the following holds:
Grand-Duke of Weimar and his wife Maria Pavlovna - daughters Marie and Auguste - cousins, each a child of one of the sisters: Anna and emperor Frederick III - second cousins: Frederick Charles and Margaret. 62.78.193.202 (talk) 20:20, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
Titles
[edit]There's no source calling her Queen of Finland and Karelia, etc. DrKay (talk) 20:10, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
