Poutini ≠ Greenstone
[edit]Poutini is not a Māori word for Greenstone - that's pounamu. Poutini is most often used as the Māori name for the star Rigel. I think that whoever claimed a connection with pounamu is somehow confusing the details of the legend of Ngahue and Poutini, (a summary of which can be found at Ngahue).
