Move
[edit]This article is attempting to cover two positions under the heading of one. I propose that this be moved to People's Government of Shanghai Municipality so there can be a broader discussion of the Shanghai government structure.--Jiang 11:24, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Uh, I don't know Jiang. Mayors and the CPC Secretaries are both de facto administrators of the city. We could redirect all of this to the "Government of Shanghai" or even "Politics of Shanghai" if we wanted to. The "People's Government of Shanghai Municipality" is much too tedious. - I agree with Colipon. "Sub-national government structures" might be a topic, but if we get into Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuxi, etc it just get's repetitive. DOR (HK) (talk) 01:00, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
