Actions in Russia and China
Does anyone know if they've conducted any actions in China or Russia? Worldruler20 (talk) 01:05, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- @Worldruler20: The Plowshares movement emerged in a Western context, and has not spread among Christians in other cultures. This is a deeply ethically-driven movement, and doing an action in a foreign country like China or Russia would likely raise complex cross-cultural questions which Plowshares activists may find difficult. I find it highly unlikely that there has been an action against the Chinese or Russian military, and I also doubt that the US military has bases in these countries. Obviously, this is my personal speculation. Sondra.kinsey (talk) 22:46, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
List of actions?
Is the lengthy list of actions necessary? If they are deemed valuable, it really needs a clean up. Surv1v4l1st (Talk|Contribs) 20:00, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- I've taken it out as the items all came from a single, non-neutral source and per WP:NOTDIR. Events should be added in if there was some coverage in third party reliable sources. --NeilN talk to me 20:31, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
The whole article substantively was this way. I just took a solid hatchet to it, but it needs a LOT of cleanup work. This shouldn't be a promo piece. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 02:54, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
