Stars
[edit]Most bodies more massive than Super-Earths, including stars and gas giants, as well as smaller gas dwarfs, transition contiguously between phases including gas, liquid and solids. As such they are generally regarded as lacking surfaces. But it is very common to speak of a star's surface. In Star, the word surface occurs 31 times but isn't defined. Photosphere says the photosphere is typically used to describe the Sun's or another star's visual surface.--188.106.70.19 (talk) 20:06, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
