This is more of a drive-by comment, but isn't it not uncommon for plant or animal species to only be found in single islands? I don't see how Piccolia being like that makes it any different or special. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 10:23, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Narutolovehinata5, would you prefer something like ALT1: "... that while some lichen species in the genus Piccolia have ranges which span multiple continents, others are restricted to single islands?" (Note: same source as above)

Article new enough and long enough. fully referenced to reliable sources, hooks are both verified. No policy issues or close paraphrasing issues identified. Alt1 is a little more hooky. Looks good to go.--Kevmin § 20:44, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
