[edit]

The subdivision of the Turkish Lira is the Kurus (read kurush) and not Kuru.

Fixed. But you could have done it yourself. Osgoodelawyer 01:24, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quebec Piastre

[edit]

On 1 February 2006 24.89.237.81 deleted a picture I added to this page, with the note "this is a fake". Actually, no, it wasn't. The image shown was clearly labelled as a *proposed* banknote to be used in an independent Quebec. So, I'm going to upload a picture of the bill again, and create a new entry for it, which hopefully won't be deleted by the next person to jump to conclusions. Sigh... mvc 02:54, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

US-Dollar size?

[edit]

What does the article mean by "U.S. dollar-size"? Is that the physical size or the buying power? Both of these are prone to change over time, so it doesn't mean much to me as a US citizen. The picture, by showing a note rather than a coin, seems to confuse matters further. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ezrakilty (talkcontribs) 12:02, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
