At the start of this article there's an image which is captioned "a copy of the lost photograph of the Petrozavodsk object" yet the article makes no mention if it. Who took it? How was it lost? Who copied it?

I guess I got here the same way as Mr/s 212, the anniversary page. I noticed the same thing and can't find a point the history where the reference was inserted, much less explained. Are/Were there more photos and, if so, what did they purport to show? Is the one on the page the only extant copy of the only extant photo? How was it interpreted (or why wasn't it mentioned) by the various investigations that are detailed extensively on the page itself? Last1in (talk) 20:59, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
