Peter Davidson (footballer) → Peter Davidson – All of the articles with the name Peter Davidson have been deleted, making the disambiguation unnecessary. There could be some confusion with Pete Davidson or Peter Davison, but that could be covered with a hatnote. JDDJS (talk) 21:43, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose Pete is a short form of Peter. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:38, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
- Which articles have been deleted? The other names on dab don't look as though they were ever articles - it's just that the footballer stub isn't Primary Topic material for such a common name. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:54, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
- The name is not a such a common name as you claim. There are currently only two people with the name Peter Davidson that have articles, and one of them doesn't go by it. JDDJS (talk) 16:32, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

- Support per nom. Unreal7 (talk) 15:29, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose as the Pete Davidson article still exists, and his first name is a shortened form of his legal name Peter. ONR (talk) 19:36, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- That's what hatnotes are for. See WP:2DABS. JDDJS (talk) 16:29, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. I see no evidence that people searching "Peter Davidson" really want this guy. It's not a WP:TWODABS, and I don't think it's so out of the blue that people would expect Pete Davidson or Peter Davison when they search this. Checking pageviews shows that the "Peter Davidson" DAB page surges up whenever those two articles do too. [1] A DAB page works best here. Nohomersryan (talk) 22:10, 3 November 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. Tempted to close myself as no consensus. Not a shred of evidence that he's the primary topic, and it seems highly unlikely. Andrewa (talk) 07:10, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
