[edit]Whilst called Pengam Station, the area in which it is situated is Glan-y-nant. Pengam proper is situated to the east over the river bridge. The orriginal village "centre" being near the Smiths Arms PH. Glan-y-nant covers the small area from the northern tip of Lewis School, south to junction of Hanbury Street and to the west just west side of the railway itself.
