Seat count
[edit]Why is the seat count (including the vacancies) 148 instead of 150? Zlad! (talk) 12:50, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
- Why is the diagram now per faction and not per party? And how so is European Socialists now "supporting" the government? They supported some of the ruling party legislative proposals, but have they declared to be in a formal support role - similarly to People's Power? Labrang (talk) 09:42, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Labrang They voted for Kobakhidze's government confirmation. Diagram is based on groups (not factions), because there is no way that I know of how a sane person could calculate which person is in which party. If thats listed somewhere please educate me and I'll update it to show that.
- If anything its at least good I got rid of the previous version because the diagram was from 2023 and the MP listings were such a mess that the total didn't add up to 150, some MPs were just not included, some were included twice, there were defunct political parties included like State for the People, both groups and parties were placed together, which is another catastrophe. I think if anything this revision is better for the simple fact that it's at least the truth. Zlad! (talk) 13:25, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
Boycott
[edit]Three out of four opposition blocks have boycotted the new parliament amid the wide-spread election fraud and withdrew their electoral lists. Central Elections Commission of Georgia affirmed the decision. 49 seats are now vacant. https://tabula.ge/ge/news/726330-tseskom-sami-opozitsiuri-koalitsiis-motkhovna 5.178.149.15 (talk) 21:45, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
