Impracticality of capes

[edit]

I have watched my brother play Pajama Sam 2 many times, and I have never noticed a scene showing the impracticality, or whatever you called it, of capes. Either you are talking about when he loses his cape at the beginning, or you are mistakenly thinking of Disney/Pixar's movie, the Incredibles.

It's not a mistake, it's referrring to the Incredibles. If I recall correctly (I'm not 100% sure of what I'm talking about, I haven't played the game in like 7 years), Sam gets his cape stuck somewhere. "The impracticality of capes" is referring to Edna's explanation of how capes are no good in the Incredibles. --Thrashmeister 15:05, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Referring to the Incredibles? The Incredibles is a very recent movie; how can a game you haven't played in seven years refer to a recent movie? I got rid of the Incredibles part, maybe someone should get rid of the whole "impracticality of capes" thing if it's not even in the game.. it's bad to trust one's memory of something from years ago. I wasn't talking about the game referring to the movie, I was talking about "the impracticality of capes" as listed in the article was meant to be a reference to the Incredibles. --Thrashmeister 16:33, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That thing in Pajama Sam 2 about the "impracticality of capes" referencing the Incredibles couldn't be. Pajama Sam 2 was released in 1998 and The Incredibles was released in 2004, six years later. 74.132.199.253 (talk) 04:38, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am the person who added that first comment. Sorry, Thrashmeister, but I think it very, very, very, VERY unlikely that Wikipedia has confused PJ Sam with the Incredibles. I was just thinking of all the possibilities. Anyway, I think you people might be right about something . I now understand that when he first met Thunder and Lightning, he tripped on his cape and went flying in the air. I don't think this makes it impractical, though, because it'd be a lot less interesting if he went up to the red button and said, hey, what does this do?

Again, none of you understood my point. Whoever wrote that thing about the impracticality of capes was meaning it to be a reference to the Incredibles. Enough said. Sincerely, Thrashmeister {U|T|C} 20:53, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since tripping over his cape is somewhat diffrent than getting it stuck, im going to make a small edit and change this. Revert it back if you have any problems. Ageofe 02:53, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Request

[edit]

There is a definitely lack of images for this page and I think at least one of just Pajama Sam might good just to help with describing the character himself. Ode2joy (talk) 21:02, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Other Games

[edit]

I don't see why we can't add pages for the non-adventure games. 2603:6010:8B45:FA00:A9AC:7196:79BA:F6E3 (talk) 14:43, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I mean, just because they aren't as big and don't have as much plot does not mean that they can't have pages either. At least say what they're about! 2603:6010:8B45:FA00:8CA7:B390:9A58:1434 (talk) 05:00, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have an idea: We can add a section on the "Other Games" template called "Summary", or something, giving a short summary of the plot and gameplay of the games. How about that? 74.132.203.31 (talk) 06:05, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
