LinkedIn

I can say I am the President of the US on my LinkedIn. I don't think that should be a valid reference.--BelBivDov (talk) 23:07, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. I removed it and replaced it with a reference from The New York Times and one from the Los Angeles Times. Needed to change some wording as well to reflect what was written in each one. --CNMall41 (talk) 00:52, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Vanity page

[edit]

Language is focused on self-promotion and broad claims. W/o attachment to specific, documented projects it raises a very simple question: why does this person have a page? Because this person wants to have a page to validate them, or to enhance commercial endeavors. Both are an inappropriate basis for making a page. 75.97.165.87 (talk) 12:40, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
