Company description edits

[edit]
  • What I think should be changed (include citations): Intro paragraph should be changed to the following:

PLP Architecture is an architecture and urban design firm with offices in London, Singapore and Tokyo. The practice works internationally and has projects in the UK, across continental Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. As well as its architectural and urban design work, the studio also does industrial design, strategy (including placemaking and workplace) and research pieces. These are supported through the company’s in-house research group PLP Labs.

  • Why it should be changed: The current text mentions very little about the company, not giving a rounded picture of what they do, where they work or are based. The second sentence in the existing text is over 8 years old and no longer relevant.
  • References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button):

Please have a read of WP:LEAD - in short, the first paragraph summarises the content in the rest of the article. Therefore in order to make any changes to it, you need first need to find independent, reliable sources to verify the information you would like to add to the main text. Once that is done we can think about how to summarise it in the introduction. SmartSE (talk) 18:11, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your direction on this. There are quite a few bits I'd like to suggest are added to the main body of text. If I understand you correctly, I should suggest those on this page initially and then once that's done we look at the lead section? Is it preferable for me to suggest changes bit-by-bit? Or in one big chunk? NosdivadJA (talk) 09:59, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's correct. Bit by bit is easier. But I would suggest that you first share potential sources first as that is the cornerstone to creating content. SmartSE (talk) 10:36, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
