QMS Salt Lake: regarding class 10-B batch of 2022-2023

[edit]

According to students, they were supposed to receive their Physical Science Pre Board Examination answer sheets and scores on Tuesday, 24 January, 2023. However, due to the absence of their subject teacher as well as the absence of the answer sheets in the school premises, the students did not receive a chance to view their papers. This was not expected from a reputed school as this one, and frustrated multiple students. Two students went to enquire about the answer sheets, and one of them asked the current principal when they would be able to view the paper and the scores. The other student asked if they should come to school another day to view the paper before the report cards came out. The following events were somewhat as follows: Principal: It is not necessary for so many students to come to school for one paper. You (the students) will receive the paper on the day of the report itself. Student 1: What if there are marks to be increased?

Student 1 was given a rebuke and was promptly asked to "Get out" (quoted).

However, the student was well within her rights to ask such a question, and the answer given was not satisfying. A student of this school is well within her rights to have a chance to view her answer sheet before the reports are handed out, and this incident does not shine any good light on the school's reputation.

Note: this is not the first incident where students were denied of information they should have received. Anonuserip (talk) 09:35, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
