Drozdik Orsolya From the Hungarian Wikipedia

[edit]

Found D.O. page in Hungarian Wikipedia,[1] will be taking links and references from there... ovA_165443 (talk) 15:00, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Osvaldo valdes 165443: There's nothing wrong with doing that in principle, but please remember that each language Wikipedia project is technically different with it's own policies and guidelines; so, just because you may find links used on Hungarian Wikipedia, that doesn't automatically be used on English Wikipedia. English Wikipedia is the one with the most articles and most people editing it, so it's policies/guidelines tend to be much stronger (i.e. restrictive) and more rigorously enforced than perhaps other language Wikipedia. So, before you "add" any of these links, you should self-assess them per things like WP:RS and WP:ELNO to see whether they meet relevant English Wikipedia policies/guidelines. Be particularly careful with respect to things like WP:SPS, WP:BLPSPS, WP:COPYLINK and WP:ELNEVER since many other language Wikipedia might not be the same with respect to them when it comes to links added to them. You can use non-English sources per WP:NONENGLISH, and sources written in Hungarian or any language other than English can be used as long as they're considered reliable; however, be vary of translations of such sources posted online unless you're competent enough to check the original source in its original language to assess whether it's (1) reliable and (2) it actually says what the translation says it does. If you cannot read a source yourself in its original language or access it to verify it, don't just assume it's OK and add it to English Wikipedia; try asking for help at WP:TRLA or a relevant WikiProject instead. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:40, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
==Hungarian Wikipedia== Thank you very much for your info, it's helpful to see the various parts (corporations) under "Wikipedia." Thanks again! ovA_165443 (talk) 15:28, 27 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
