The included image claims the Reunion site was unconstructed, yet the sub-articles (now merged) suggest it was. What's the story? Maury 15:07, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the image description was written by someone for whom English isn't their first language. And should read demolished site instead of unconstructed site. -- 222.154.148.250 09:03, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Moved image request

[edit]

There was an outstanding request on the redirected page Omega transmitter Paynesville for a photo of the transmitter. I have moved it here. Tim Pierce 13:42, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Photos of the sites

[edit]

It would be a great idea putting in the description of each station a photograph showing the station as pictures of OMEGA-stations are rare and often without a label which station they show. From Woodside, Australia , La Moure, South Daota and Paynesville, Liberia actual pictures can be made. Also interesting: pictures that how what happened to each station after shut-down ( for example from the Trelew site there is still the helix building existing. Look on Wiimapia!) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.46.220.52 (talk) 23:59, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have uploaded two pictures to Wikimedia Commons, if someone would like to integrate one into the article. I might get around to doing it myself, but if you feel bold it will get done sooner. --Alan (talk) 03:53, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sub-articles

[edit]

Any reason why the two stations were made sub-articles? They seem too short to justify an article all by themselves, and they break up the continuity of the article. I'd like to re-merge them back with the main article. --Alan (talk) 03:06, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
