Lede

I added back in the note about the reason for the origin of the Nphagspa script; it seemed confusing without it and it seemed very appropriate to note the reason for the design of the alphabet was to render important languages like Chinese using an alphabet for the first time.

As for the romanisation, Wiki Pinyin romanisation rules states that erhua needs to be cited as a single syllable; is Hàn'ér yányǔ (漢兒言語) actually two syllables or is it Hànr, an erhua syllable? I romanised it as erhua but my edit was redacted. Ogress _smash! 18:21, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't got a reference to hand, but 漢兒 is two syllables, and not an example of erhua. BabelStone (talk) 20:21, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
