How many planets were in the Old Empire?

This article should list the planets that the first Old Empire populated. Anyone know them, or at least how many planets were populated? Dionyseus 19:12, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure which Old Empire you're referring to, but I did add a link to List of Dune planets and also a note from Dune regarding the number of Landsraad worlds. Also, the Legends of Dune page features a list of Jihad-era planets. TAnthony 17:26, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Herbert vs. prequels

Regarding the following statement:

This differs from earlier indications by Frank Herbert that it was lack of computers following the Butlerian Jihad which led to man entering a "second middle age".

I'd like to incorporate quotes from the texts related to this discrepancy here and in the Butlerian Jihad article. I'll eventually do some searches, but does anyone have anything? TAnthony 17:26, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
