Even larger

[edit]

Big Rock is not the largest known glacial erratic. The erratic of Botsmark is even larger. Also this source states it. --Mmh (talk) 20:39, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Find what little I can find, it would appear that the Botsmark erratic is indeed larger than Big Rock erratic. Before this can be mentioned, someone would need to find an authoritative, reliable, and accessible source that can be used confirm and demonstrate as a fact that this is so. Unfortunately, the self-published, rather impermanent web pages of questionable reliability that are cited above are unsuitable for use as sources in Wikipedia. We need to find more suitable source of information for the Botsmark erratic before it can be either mentioned or compared to Big Rock. I have searched in a number of venues and found nothing usable so far. Paul H. (talk) 18:26, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Big Rock (glacial erratic)Okotoks Erratic – Okotoks Erratic appears to be the official name while 'Big Rock' is more of a nickname. Should the article be named Okotoks Erratic with Big Rock (glacial erratic) redirecting to it? Some examples would be [1] and [2]. MuzikMachine (talk) 16:31, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
