Notable?
[edit]This page was deleted on 20 january, 2007 after a prod-tag was put up by yours truly. The reason was that it wasn't considered notable as per WP:N. On 11 may, 2007, it was re-created. The deleting admin, Grandmasterka, again questioned it's notability on 25 june, but his notice was taken down by Njaard on 23 jul. Njaard added a sentence stating they released two albums and went on a tour in the UK.
I, for one, still question the notability of the subject. Njaard's reference is a reference to the band's own homepage, which doesn't do it. I'm putting the tag back up, and will consider bringing it to AFD if noone actually delivers proof on notability. Jobjörn (Talk ° contribs) 20:26, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
- What would be considered "proof" of notability? --Kvaks 23:53, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
- Jobjörn, I have added some better references for the Label and Tour, I expect at least one of them to be sufficient to establish notability. Please remove the notability-template or tell us what you would "proof" would be, as Kvaks asks. njaard 07:05, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Notable!
[edit]No more deletions of this article, as it meets notability criteria:
The article meets the following crieteria:
4. Has received non-trivial coverage in a reliable source of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country -- in this case, the UK. (struck out until I find some "non-trivial" press converage)
6. Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable). -- in this case, Candlelight Records which has a history of at least 7 years and has signed various notable bands including Opeth and Emperor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Njaard (talk • contribs) 07:55, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
