This page needs some work! Harriman and William Rockefeller was not part of Northern Securities Company they was the reason it was cerated. These two pages have a more better account of what happen and why. Northern_Pacific_Railway James_J._Hill Lazarus-long 19:34, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

That's incorrect. Harriman had accumulated enough stock of the NP to appoint a few representatives to Northern Securites. Rockefeller was a prominent Harriman backer. 05-20-07 JP3

Suggest incorporating ideas espoused by Michael Sol (https://milwaukeeroadarchives.com/Construction/Northern%20Securities%20Commentary.htm - Another View: the Northern Securities Saga) Sol's story makes more sense than the usual view, I think. Jwilsonjwilson (talk) 18:56, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
